Inequality is a question of power. And power is never given, it must be taken.

Yesterday morning at 8.30 a.m., the German Committee for UN Women held its final briefing for the 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

This morning I’m already on my flight back to Germany. With heart and mind full of inspiration and drive.

I have heard so many rousing speeches, had inspiring conversations and met so many impressive people.

Most of all I am moved by the strong solidarity between women.

Now we just have to take this into our everyday lives:

Let’s focus more on what we have in common rather than emphasising our differences. Feminism must not only be thought about, but practised.

👉 So if you’ve got a seat at the table, be happy and take two other women with you!

Together we are strong enough to take the power for equality. This also applies to the legal market.

I am very grateful for the past week, for the opportunity, the experience, the conversations and the friendly solidarity I experienced.
